This is an amazing stylish wire wrapped copper pendant necklace with natural Red Jasper stone.

The copper was oxidized to create an antiqued coloring and to highlight the details of the wire work.

RED JASPER PROPERTIES

Jasper is an opaque stone, an aggregate of quartz, chalcedony and other minerals. 
Jasper comes in many colors, the color stemming from the mineral content of the original sediments or ash. Patterns occur during the flowing and consolidation process when the stone is forming. Red Jasper gets its color from iron inclusions. 

Jasper is an excellent “worry bead,” helping to calm emotions when rubbed. Red Jasper aligns with the base chakra. 

Folklore says that Jasper is the “supreme nurturer” because of its ability to give you the support you need through stressful times. It is said to be steady and calming, almost like having the reassuring presence of a good friend at your side. It is also said to ground energies in the body, balance yin yang, and help free up creative blocks.

CARE

It is best not to allow gemstones to come into contact with saltwater, oil, lotion or chemicals. Wash gently by hand with mild soap and cool water.

To spiritually cleanse your pendant, you may try one of these options:

• Place the gemstone in moonlight for a few hours. The full moon is particularly potent for cleansing and charging stones. Cleansing in the sun is safe for clear and white stones; over time, the sun may bleach out colored stones so sun-cleansing is not recommended for most stones.
• Rinse the gemstone under running water, preferably natural sources like a stream or river. If using tap water, ensure the stone is safe for this method, as some stones may be porous or sensitive to water.
• Place the gemstone on or near a larger crystal, like a clear quartz cluster or amethyst geode, which can help to recharge and cleanse it.
